His Love Aaj Kal has completed 50 days at the box office and has earned more than Rs 65 crores just within India. Now actorproducer Saif Ali Khan is looking forward to Kurbaan – a film he admits he is proud of having acted in being a Muslim.

“As a Muslim, I feel proud of the fact that I have done this film. This is one of the most socially relevant films today. It is good that it is coming at just the time when our country needs cinema like this,” says Saif.

Set in the US, Kurbaan is a romantic thriller with terrorism as its backdrop. A Karan Johar production directed by Rensil D’Silva, Kurbaan also stars Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Dia Mirza.

Saif reveals that he now has a new career plan in place. “I’d now be working on two-three films a year and make sure that I cover a wide spectrum. While a couple of them would be big, nice commercial films, another would be a relatively smaller film that can be completed in 30 days flat.” His next production venture is Agent Vinod. But shooting for the film is yet to begin. “Final touches on the script are being given and we’ve been looking at getting the best technicians on board. I guess by the end of this year, we should begin shooting,” says Saif.

Story line : -
Nagarjuna as Surya the Don is slim and stylish. He plays his part well but sometimes appears to be bit unsure of himself. His character has also not been properly etched. He also seems to have slowed down a bit what with age catching up.

Raghava Lawrence tries to dominate throughout the film. He also essays comedy and manages to evoke some laughter with the situational comedy.

The villain is a revelation. The director has done the right thing by not casting any of the regular villains. Kelly Dorjee has done a neat job.

Aushka plays her usual glamour doll role. Her role is quite limited but she nevertheless sizzles and once again gives a visual treat to the audience with her beautiful and well-maintained structure. The rest of the cast is adequate in their roles.

Shriya Sharma, who played in several Hindi and Telugu films as a child artiste is playing another key role in the movie. The shooting of the film was formally launched at Ramoji Film City. Prominent director SS Rajamouli gave the clap, while Krishh of Gamyam-fame switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of K Raghavendra Rao.
For this ocassion the shruti came to the studio for a just a minute shot and she caught up to the camera as below..
